Having trouble sticking to your New Year’s resolution? Come to the YMCA and get yourself signed up for the February Biathlon. The February Biathlon is a personal fitness challenge that will keep you motivated to get in the gym and get back in shape.
There are several challenge levels including the Bronze; with a goal of 30 bike-miles and 10 run-miles, compared to the Ultra Marathon with a goal of 280 bike-miles and 125 run-miles. Set your goal for the miles you will run and bike throughout the month. Your run miles include running, walking, elliptical machine, wave machine, and group exercise classes. Your bike miles will be any miles you log in our spin room, wellness center, or riding outside on your own. Can you dedicate yourself and reach your goal?
The February Biathlon starts on February 1st and will end February 29th. A February Biathlon T-Shirt is included in your registration fee. We have some great prizes up for grabs as well. Every week that you reach your goals, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a free one month membership and at the end of the challenge one person will win a free one hour massage.
